Bhakthidham is one among more than 200 tourist interested spots in Nasik. Bhakthidham is located near Dindori Naka, which is at about 2km from Central Bus Stand. I saw and visited number of temples within the precincts of this Bhakthidham. This place is well-known for various temples. On a walk around this premises I got the impression that this is remarkable shrine among the various sacred places of worships I have visited so for.
The main deity in Bhakthidham is Lord Shiva, called as Shankara, in the form of Pashupatinath. It was earlier familiar as ‘Kailas Matt’. In this shrine various religious activities take place such as rituals, pujas and Vidhi-vidhanas. If you have not visited the beautiful Saptashrungi hill and had the darshan of Mother Goddess there, doesn’t matter you can see Her and pay your respects at the main entrance of Bhakthidham. You will find a big size idol of Mother Goddess Saptashrungi Matha and Lord Ganesh. When I entered the temple I witnessed some religious discourses and deliberations on Vedas. Thus Bhakthidham is a pilgrimage centre for the visiting devotees, who will be happy to be amidst a hub of religious activities here.
